Yes! Indiana residents are welcome to purchase long guns (shotguns, rifles) from our Michigan location with a valid Indiana Drivers License. No extra hoops to jump through.
If you would like to purchase a pistol or a receiver from us, it will need to be transferred through an Indiana dealer. We are happy to help facilitate this transfer and have several dealers south of the border who we work with regularly.
When buying from an online retailer, you will need to have your gun shipped to a local FFL dealer to complete the transaction. We are already setup with many of the larger sites (GunBroker, Palmetto State Armory, Buds Gun Shop, etc.) You can simply select Chapel Hill Guns and Ammo as the shipping FFL during the checkout on these sites, and we will let you know when your item arrives.
No problem. Give us a call or email and we can help to get it straightened out. We will send a copy of our FFL to your shipping dealer so that they can process your order. You can also download a copy of our FFL from the Download FFL tab.
We charge $30 per serialized item.
Yes, we can accept transfers for NFA items, although the process is a bit more complicated than a normal firearm. We charge $100 for NFA transfers. We recommend you give us a call or stop by the store to discuss NFA transfers before you begin the process.
In most scenarios, it makes more financial sense to just buy the NFA item directly through us instead of performing a transfer.
We recommend that you only purchase from reputable websites. There are many scam websites that offer impossible-to-find items at unreasonably low prices. Remember, if a deal seems to good to be true, it probably is.
If the site is asking you to pay in Crypto, Zelle, or Paypal, these are red flags. Stay away!
